Every two years, following the Democratic Party of Virginia’s Party Plan, local Democratic committees reorganize. Current members must apply again for membership, new members can join, and new officers are elected.
This means that every two years we wipe the slate clean and start over; all current members lose their membership status in November of 2017.
Current members and individuals who submitted either the printed pre-filing form or online application form between 11/16/17 and 11/29/17 were voted in as members at our monthly business meeting on December 4th. Those members will be able to vote for officers on January 3rd, 2018 (Changed from January 9th).
New members joining after November 29, 2017:
Join us! If you wish to become a member, apply for full membership online here and select the Member status in the form. We also have membership options: Associate Member, Supporter or Volunteer. The link above includes more information on each status. Once you apply, you will be voted in during one of next year’s business meetings.
If you wish to fill out a hard copy of our membership form and mail or email to us, download this pdf form.
If you have questions, please contact our Communications Chair.
